The Catholic Women’s League of Canada calls its members to grow in faith, and to witness to the love of God through ministry and service.
About the Catholic Women’s League
The Catholic Women’s League is part of a national sisterhood of women, rooted in our shared Catholic faith, who promote awareness and respond to political and social issues that affect all Canadians. They propose government initiatives to local, provincial, and national governments.
Our members are actively involved in charitable projects such as supporting local food banks through non-perishable food donations and serving meals; and assisting with parish events and liturgical celebrations.
The CWL offers women a unique opportunity to develop their spirituality while advocating for social justice in Canada and abroad. Through prayer, action, and fellowship, we strive to build a more compassionate and faithful society.
We warmly welcome all women to attend, regardless of membership in the Catholic Women’s League. These meetings provide an opportunity to connect and socialize within our community while enjoying food, refreshments, and engaging activities.
New members are always welcome. We meet monthly in the parish hall, and we warmly invite you to join us!
Catholic Women’s League of Canada’s National Theme
Ignite Your Passion, Empower His Mission!
The new national theme is inspired by the Sacred Heart of Jesus, which represents God’s infinite love. His words ignite a spiritual fire within members to love and share God’s love. It is that passion for our Lord that fuels members to become passionate advocates, compelling us to speak God’s truth, even when it’s difficult and to take action.
